Paws is our PTA’s annual funding campaign. Each year we ask our families to contribute a $150 per student to cover the cost of enriching programs for our kids and family events. Every penny goes straight to the kids and is in lieu of “door-to-door selling”! If you are unable to donate the full amount you can make a $17.00/month re-occurring payment through PayPal for each student in your household.
Every family that contributes $150 by Friday, September 10th will be entered into a drawing for a $100.00 cash value gift card for a restaurant in our community.
The top two classes with the highest percentage of pledges will win a Pizza Party as well as a $200.00 Scholastic Gift Card for the teacher.
Every family who donates by the September 10th deadline will receive $10 off their yearbook.
JUST ADDED!! Teachers with 75% or higher will also be entered into a raffle for more gift cards.
Advancing technology, Art and P.E. classes taught by professional instructors, Science Day, Garden, Classroom Aides and so much more! PLUS every student receives a free Spirit Wear t-shirt!
These programs benefit our children by providing a higher quality, more well-rounded education…and they LOVE them! Our social events help to build a strong sense of community and family.
California provides little to no funding for any of these programs and events! Without your contribution we will no longer be able to offer these programs at our school.
PTA determined that $150 per student is a reasonable amount to ask each family to help fund these programs. The actual cost per student is over $180!!!
Yes, other schools in our district ask in excess of $350 per student. La Costa schools ask for over $800 per student. Schools in Del Mar ask for over $1000.
This is an investment in your child’s educational experience. Every contribution is 100% tax deductible. You will receive a receipt by the end of the year. Without your help, our kids don't get these extras they enjoy & deserve.
Many employers will match contributions dollar-for-dollar! It is worthwhile to inquire about this possibility with your employer. Every dollar counts for our kids!
